primesoft Add-In Outlook - working with signatures

Applies to: Users
Refers to: primedocs desktop, OneOffixx

This page is about classic templates. These cannot be used in the web-enabled Outlook version. You can find more information here.

primedocs offers several functions for your e-mail signature.

Choose signature

When you open a new email, it contains your complete, external signature by default.

There are now several buttons in the primedocs Outlook add-in that are relevant for the signature area.

On the left we have the signature dropdown, which allows you to manually select and apply a signature. BY default primedocs will create two signatures - one internal and one external - both based upon your user profile. And you can switch manually here. But wait… read on, because you might not ever have to switch manually!

On the top of the right highlight box above you see an on/off signature button. This allows you to turn the signature on or off entirely. It’s a toggle button, so press once to hide and press again to display.

The little checkbox at the bottom, beside Auto signature is really nice: it allows primedocs to watch your address fields (To, Cc and Bcc) and if it only sees internal addresses, it will automatically switch the signature to a compact internal signature. In the example below, this is a very compoact, minimal signature - but it can be more, depending on what your organization would like to have as an internal signature:

Select campaign

You can use the Campaign button to select a campaign, which is then inserted below your e-mail signature. If your organization does not offer any campaigns, the button is greyed out.

If several campaigns are running and have been activated for you, you can select which campaign you would like to add in this drop-down menu.
